PARSA Family Village
Transition to the community program.
Transition to the community program.
The PARSA Family Village is a new residence community for women without family and persons with special needs. Beneficiaries receive individualized support and have opportunities to make meaningful connections to help them develop a strong structure of community support. Upon arrival, each resident in the village undergoes an assessment, is assigned a social worker, and works with their social worker to develop an individualized plan to transition to independent living. Beneficiaries are provided opportunities to become economically self-sufficient including support with training, job placement, and small business development through PARSA’s Trade Afghan program.
