Brothers 4 Brothers International Job Board

The members of PARSA’s Brothers 4 Brothers program are Afghans who have returned home after living abroad. They are working with PARSA to form a network of support for fellow returnees. One area they have requested support is in securing jobs in Afghanistan, and PARSA has created this Job Board to help them connect with potential employers. Please note that PARSA only provides references for individuals who we have worked with directly, as identified in certain bios.

In June 2015, I was forced to leave Afghanistan for Iran due to my work with the ANA. After a while, I left for Europe. I finally arrived in Sweden, learned the language, and then started working in a restaurant called Pizza Burger as a driver who delivered pizzas to the homes of customers. I also did this job in the cities of Orubro, Karlescu, Karastad, and Stockholm.

Abdul Wahed Noori

I am Abdul Wahed. I have spent 10 years in Russia. I was in shoe business there. In 2014 I went to Norway. I was there for eight months. In 2015 I went to Germany and I was there for a year and a half. I went to France in 2017 and I was there until 2020. During these years I learned Russian, German and French relatively well. From the people of Norway, I learned to respect and motivate others.

The psychological pressures forced me to return to my country. I’m good at construction but I’m interested in business because I’ve been doing it for years.

I am also interested in learning English and computer. In my spare time, I like to exercise, like running.

My name is Mujtaba Saifi. I lived in Sweden for 4 years, from 2015 until the end of 2019. I was in Germany for three months. Now I’m back in Afghanistan and I want to share the knowledge and skills I gained in Sweden. I am very interested in studying. I learned group work from living within other cultures and now that I am in Afghanistan, I want to help others. I spend my free time exercising or getting information. And I enjoy spending time with people who have different perspectives.

I was in Germany for about four and a half years. Three months in Switzerland and six months in France. What I learned in these countries made me aware of my citizenship rights. I have a lot of knowledge and experience in the security sector which I want to share with others.

I have been in Sweden for five years. Now I have returned back to Afghanistan and want to use my skills here in the country. For example, I like to cook Italian food and pizza. I also like to spend time with kids. In my free time I like to enjoy and hangout with my family and good friends.

I went to Germany in 2015 and spent 4 years there. I went to school in Germany and worked there, and then in 2019 I came back to Afghanistan and now I live in District 17 in Kabul. I worked before in Seegatterl Alm Hotel in Germany and after that I worked as a Finance Assistant in NATC and WHH, where the donor was GIZ. I want to use my work experience from foreign countries in my own country to improve myself, my family and my country. I like to spend time with my family in my free time, play football, and study.
