Tigger House to the Rescue!

Adopt a four-legged friend today!!!By Phillip Poullada, International Volunteer

PARSA at Marastoon, August 12, 2007

When three small puppies were found abandoned out on the road in front of PARSA, we did what many of us would do, and took them in. While at first quite wild from fear, within a day of snuggling together in their new home, they became calm and their puppy personalities began to emerge. However PARSA, like many animal-lovers' homes, could only provide temporary shelter. A longer term solution had to be found.

Adopt a four-legged friend today!!!We called Tigger House and soon enough we were on our way to discovering one of Kabul’s only pet resources, with three small puppies in tow. Not only do they provide small animal care, veterinary services and shelter a clan or two of cats and dogs available for adoption, but they do it in a completely pet-friendly and (mostly) relaxed environment.

Thanks to the animal rescue and adoption services of Tigger House, three more young dogs are available to make someone happy.

If you are looking for a furry companion in Afghanistan or your own pet needs care, or you see a small animal in distress and need to do something but don’t know where to turn for help, contact Tigger House.
