Many of the people associated with PARSA are former students, parents, teachers, and administrators of the American International School of Kabul (AISK). They lived in Afghanistan during the 1960s and '70s, before the wars, when Afghanistan truly was a magic kingdom. You can share their memories by reading The Scorpion Anthology, a compilation of their personal memoirs published by the Advocates for Afghanistan.

"Afghanistan to me was my first kiss. Wonderful. Magical. Childhood memories full of close friendships and exciting adventures." – Stacia Teele

The former campus of the American International School of Kabul (AISK) is now the new home of the American University of Afghanistan (AUAf).
